About Me
Hello! My name is Sean Restivo, owner and operator of GyrateManatee Productions. I strive to tell stories that I believe are interesting and important.
I graduated from the San Francisco State University School of Cinema in 2022. There I participated in the thesis film program where I made my first award winning short film, Together. It earned the title of Best College Film winner at the Student Films Online Film Festival.
Since I have worked in live production at a creative producer, a switchboard operator, and an audio mixer.
I also have partnered with El Dorado Films as a featured filmmaker, directing and editing films, Baptiste Garnier and the Indian Wars and The Sioux: From Red Cloud to Wounded Knee. In addition I edited the short film, Resilience: The Kim LeBel Story, and assistant edited Unseen Determination: An Athlete's Journey.
